Have you ever thought why it is ok for American' to eat certain food items? There are 15 or so food items that are banned in the U.S., mainly because they're to protect endangered species or to stop acts of animal cruelty. There is about 10 or so food items that are banned abroad that have negative health effects which are consumed in the U.S. on a regular basis.

If you knew that what you're eating is filled with the same chemicals used to make yoga mats, preservatives found in wax food packaging, and a major component of rat poisoning would you still eat it?

Before you head to the grocery store or stop at the nearest fast-food place take a moment, a second and rethink that purchase.


  1. Mountain Dew/Sunkist Soda - contains Brominated Vegetable Oil which is known to irritate the skin and mucous membranes, cause headaches, memory loss and impaired balance/coordination. Contains food dye yellow 6.

  2. Cereals like Post Maid S'mores, Honey Bunches of Oats, Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes - contain Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHT) - causes Cancer in Humans.

  3. Skittles, Fruit Roll Ups, Cheez Its - Contain artificial colors yellow 5 and yellow 6 which is thought to cause allergic reactions, hyperactivity in children.

  4. Milk - Contains antibiotics, growth hormone rBGH/rBST (a synthetic man-made growth hormone), cause an increased risk of cancer. (Cow' milk is an acid 6.4-6.8 PH, Lactic acid, contains pus causes acidosis and promotes disease and leeches' calcium from the bones)

  5. M&M' - contain artificial dyes/colors

  6. Bread Products - (Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey sausage, Egg/Cheese Honey Wheat Flatbread, Wheat Thins and Pillsbury Breadsticks, packaged baked goods/bread as a whitening agent and dough conditioner in bread and cereal flour), contain Potassium Bromate and azodicarbonamide chemical that's used to make yoga mats and shoelaces. Linked to Respiratory problems, Cancer and other health issues.

  7. Chlorine Washed Chicken- used as an antibacterial treatment to kill bacteria. Many chicken companies in the U.S use chlorinated water baths, rinses, and mists. Check food/product labels although it has been deemed safe in a 2005 study according to USDA. It is not required to be on the label so best practices are if it is purchased in a store in the U.S., it has Chlorine on or in it. (Not recommended to wash chicken, it will spread bacteria, best to cook at proper temperature which will kill bacteria)

  8. Instant Mashed Potatoes - contains Butylated Hydroxyanisole a preservative found in chips, cereal, chewing gum and beer, also in rubber and wax food packaging which is potentially considered a human carcinogen.

  9. U.S. Pork - Ractopamine (growth hormone) thought to affect the Cardiovascular System, causes hyperactivity, behavioral changes, elevated heart rates.

  10. U.S. Bread, Rolls and Buns - Contains food additive Potassium Bromate linked to Cancer.

  11. U.S. Beef - Uses Growth Hormones (Zeranol, Trenbolone Acetate and Melengestrol Acetate which increases the risk of Breast Cancer and Prostrate Cancer. Look for Organic Seal on labels which prevents the administration of growth hormones.

  12. Farm Raised Salmon - Contains Astaxanthin to give it its coral color

  13. Coffee-Mate - Contains Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oils linked to heart disease.

  14. Stove Top Stuffing - Contains preservatives BHA/BHT which are suspected to be carcinogenic and to impair blood clotting.

  15. Gatorade- contains food dyes Yellow 5 and Yellow 6.

  16. Ritz Crackers- contain Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil which is a Trans-fat.

  17. Pillsbury Biscuits/Cresent Rolls and Pie Crust- contains Trans-fat in the form of Hydrogenated Soybean Oil/Yellow 5 and BHT/BHA.

  18. Doritos Light (check all products labeled "light") contain Olestra a fat substitute which causes abdominal cramping/loose stools, inhibits the absorption of vitamins and nutrients.

Yes, I know it can be difficult, choices are limited/reduced and it's expensive to eat better. The expense to eat better is ingrained in the system that thrives on DISEASE!

Knowing the potential hazards isn't always a deterrent. Many say "Death is inevitable and we will die from something, so why not enjoy eating what we want? Is it not better to live longer, and healthier than to suffer potentially preventable disease? If it's too late for you to change, consider sharing with the youth so they may benefit.


Once again, before grabbing that donut box, getting a piece of bread/butter, stopping at your fav fast food joint, cooking on the grill, buying snacks for kids' lunch, or just living a carefree life, Stop and Think about what you're feeding your body, Is it worth it? If YES, by all means eat up!

The U.S. allows these food additives and Food items to be consumed by us because the U.S. Pharmaceutical Companies Rule! There is a pill for all ailments even the ailment caused by the Pill we take! The U.S. is driven by Disease not the cure or prevention of! Don't get caught in the constant rhetoric about "Let's find a Cure. Let's End Cancer or Diabetes. Join in the Fight against Dementia. "

If we change our lifestyle habits DISEASE will no longer be in front, it will fall off and no longer cause pain and suffering of limb/life lost.

The creation of a new drug or the improvement of an existing drug is and will always be the GOAL!

Take charge of your life, vow to be proactive and live a preventative lifestyle. It's not easy but once you start the crawl you will soon run!
