ITS THAT TIME AGAIN, DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART. CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IS A LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH, KILLING OVER 16 MILLION PEOPLE YEARLY. AWARENESS ABOUT THE VARIOUS HEART CONDITIONS TO REMIND US TO TAKE EXTRA CARE OF OUR HEART HEALTH AND HELP THOSE SUFFERING FROM HEART DISEASE.
Diseases relating to the heart and the blood vessels are generally referred to as "cardiovascular disease". The risk factors include:
High Blood Pressure
Obesity
Smoking
High Cholesterol levels
All the above factors are related to lifestyle. We should encourage each other to participate in a lifestyle that will promote a Healthy Heart. Prepare Heart Healthy meals, exercise, and develop healthier habits. Having an understanding of heart conditions can be complex so this month, National Heart Healthy Month take some time and commit to learning about how to keep this vital life pumping and sustaining organ in perfect condition.
Change isn't easy and at times we think it's not necessary. Changing one un-Healthy Heart habit can make a difference.

Heart Healthy Breakfast: Try this simple n quick meal that is packed with Omega-3 goodness and a boost of protein. a twist on bagels and Lox without the calories. I made this and added fruit on top of the cottage cheese along with a little scotch bonnet to spice it up. You can follow the recipe as is or change the toppings to your liking.
